Chromatin is a complex of macromolecules made out of DNA, RNA, and protein, which is found inside the center of eukaryotic cells. Chromatin exists in two constructions: heterochromatin (united) and euchromatin (extended). The fundamental protein parts of chromatin are histones that help to assemble DNA into "globule like" structures called nucleosomes by giving a base on which the DNA can be collapsed over.
